We collect only what is needed to reply to your enquiry and deliver the work you commission. No tracking, no advertising cookies, no data sales.

1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Olivier van den Hurk, trading as Olivier Hurk Aerial, based in the Netherlands. You can reach the controller at info@olivierhurk.com or +31 6 58823396.
2. What data we collect
We process the following categories of personal data:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and any information you share when contacting us via email, WhatsApp or phone.
- Project details — location, dates, intended use of the footage, and any references you share.
- Invoicing data — billing address, VAT number and payment details for clients we issue invoices to.
- Footage and stills — the audiovisual material we capture during a shoot. This may include identifiable persons or property and is governed by the agreement signed for that project.
- Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) records standard access logs, including IP address, timestamp and user agent, for security and abuse prevention.
3. Why we process your data and on which legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry — pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Performing the contract — delivering shoots and footage you commission (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Invoicing and accounting — legal obligation under Dutch tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Site security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest in keeping our site available (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. How long we keep your data
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. Invoices and related records are kept for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax law. Delivered footage is archived for the duration of the project plus 24 months unless we agree otherwise.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share strictly what is necessary with the following processors:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and access logs (United States, with EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
- Email and messaging providers — delivery of email and WhatsApp messages you send us.
- Accountant — for invoicing and tax filing under a written processing agreement.
- Local crew or fixers — when a project requires it, and only the data needed to coordinate the shoot.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies that may appear are strictly necessary for the site to function (set by the hosting provider). See our cookie policy for details.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you;
- Have inaccurate data corrected;
- Have your data erased, where there is no overriding legal or contractual reason to retain it;
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Receive a portable copy of data you provided;
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
